:star: I really hope I get in! I swear I usually never write so much about Personality, History, and Fun Facts. I hope those sections aren't too long; I know groups always emphasize "no novels", but I couldn't help it! Anywho, wish me luck~!

:bulletred: Personality:

It takes a lot to break Heloisa down, however that's because she puts up emotional walls, not because she has high self-confidence. She has great work ethic, so 'best believe she'll get it done. Incredibly smart, she is a quick-thinker. Lisa keeps emotion to the minimum- both inside and outside. This unfortunately makes her close-to-insensitive to other's feelings. She cares; she just doesn't fully understand. To try to make up for that, she’s normally generous and helpful. She'd be happy to help you out, be it with your schoolwork or grabbing something from the store ASAP, though she’d make it seem just slightly bothersome to maintain her cold composure. She would be elated to tutor someone, yet would never stoop to ask to be tutored.

Speaking of cold, Lisa can be quite cold indeed. Her expression hardly ever changes from a look of uninterest and unamusement, even if she genuinely thinks you’re entertaining or is actually really listening to you. She also can come off as blunt and judgemental, especially because she will call you out on obvious flaws. Because she is also very attentive and analytic, she’ll be scanning and figuring you out very, very closely if you happen to be in her company. She notices every last detail, tone of voice, everything.
She is normally about two or three feet taller than most students, and fears that her height might intimidate people even further. Now that she has transferred to St Mortiel Academy, Lisa is trying to be more approachable and friendlier. The only negative emotion she has a strong understanding of is jealousy and that's a very, very strong emotion for her, along with a paranoia of betrayal. She can be much too hard on herself. Not understanding a subject or embarrassing herself are just a couple of things Lisa will undoubtedly beat herself up about for, for literal years.
Though she is always composed, tidy, and reserved, she prefers the company of those who, of course share her insightfulness and intelligence, but also those who are wild and entertaining. Quiet people tend to bore her. Because of her spiteful history, she has a hard time forgiving people. She is, however, working to fix that.

:bulletred:History:

Heloisa Kamilla Delgado was born and raised in a mansion off the coast of Anistar City by her mother, Adriana Garcia Delgado. Her Tropius father, Daniello Jesus Delgado, was away for the majority of her lifetime. This was because he worked abroad as a luxury cruise ship captain and host in order to support the Delgado’s expensive lifestyle. Heloisa is of heavy Latina descent, as both of her parents were born and raised in Porta Vista and spoke Spanish a majority of the time. Her mother, having never been too enthusiastic about raising a child, hired a full-time nanny to care for Heloisa when she was still a toddler. The nanny, who was a Bouffalant named Tiffany Jean, cared for Heloisa like a daughter and, in turn, Heloisa considered Tiffany to be more of a mother than Adriana.

Mrs. Delgado hardly paid any attention to her daughter and was often out shopping and having fun with her friends. Heloisa had never gotten the chance to bond with her birth mother and at a few years old, began to call Nanny Tiffany “Mommy”. Of course, this made Tiffany nervous, seeing that this was her profession and job. The Bouffalant would ask nicely that young Heloisa referred to her as “Nanny Tiffany”, but calling her “Mommy” felt all too natural to stop. Shortly after Heloisa turned six, her mother and father were expecting twins. This time around, Mrs. Delgado  was more aware of the lack of a bond between her and Heloisa and planned to try again and be more loving to the twins and their new older sister. Mrs. Delgado planned to keep Nanny Tiffany around to assist in raising them all, which elated the Bouffalant, but one fateful day Adriana overheard young Heloisa call Tiffany her “mommy”. This made Mrs. Delgado jealous and spiteful, feeling betrayed both by her employee and her daughter, so she fired Nanny Tiffany on the spot and sent her packing.

As Tiffany left the Delgado household in sadness and without a job, poor Heloisa tried to chase after her, feeling guilty and hurt to be losing her only real mother-figure. One of Heloisa’s earliest memories is that moment when Tiffany stood at the door and little Lisa begged for her to stay and apologized for what happened. She remembers the Bouffalant sobbing and hugging her, telling her it was alright, and that she was like a daughter to her as well.  Heloisa never saw Nanny Tiffany again.

Years had passed and Heloisa’s twin sisters were small children. Heloisa was now ten years old, and quite the egghead. She was very smart, her mother being very strict and controlling ( her father, however, was much more compassionate toward her whenever he was home).  Even at that point, her father was still always away, though he’d send her souvenirs from different islands, and her bond with her mother was nonexistent. Mrs. Delgado paid all of her attention to twins Milena and Luiza. Heloisa began to wonder why her mother never treated her that way and began to feel jealous. One day, Mrs. Delgado made a spiteful comment as she noticed Heloisa watching her and the twins. It was something about Nanny Tiffany.

Heloisa quickly went into research of what Mrs. Delgado could have possibly meant, and was devastated to realize her mother’s apparent motivation to be rid of her dear Nanny Tiffany. Heloisa began to dislike her mother greatly, her anger and disgust of both her and the twins growing over the years. Mrs. Delgado no longer acknowledged Heloisa’s achievements- in fact, she never did. Her certificates and trophies and medals were always ignored and looked over so that Mrs. Delgado could pay attention to the twins as Heloisa had grown up and evolved without ever being noticed. What was worse was that twins Milena and Luiza were badly behaved. They would sometimes break things and blame Heloisa, earning their older sister undeserved punishment, and would refuse to cooperate at school and get in trouble in the city.

To celebrate Mr. Delgado’s temporary return once again, the family took a trip to Lumoise City for a short vacation, during which Heloisa, who was now 16 and newly evolved into a Meganium, had snuck off and made friends with a rather chubby Deerling who was working to care for her own mother. Heloisa began to feel jealous of the apparent bond between the Deerling and her own mother, but was able to look past it and see how sweet the young girl was. The two had fun together and Heloisa told the Deerling, Cynthia Garde, about the Armonia Institute, as she herself was interested in St Mortiel, but was certain Armonia would be more fitting for Cynthia ( Mainly because Cynthia had never been educated before and was relatively poor.) . But of course, Heloisa was forced to leave Lumoise and Cynthia as the family vacation was ended.

Among the family’s arrival back to Anistar City, Heloisa was elated to see an acceptance letter awaiting her. Immediately putting on her brand new uniform, she went to show her mother and tell her about the excitement, but was once again put down and ignored. Mrs. Delgado spat an insult at her, calling her selfish, saying she knew better than to get over-excited about trivial things. The twins only made it worse, telling their older sister she was an attention-seeker, and that they were too busy getting ready for a big school field-trip to worry about her and her dumb private- school letter.

Heloisa was furious. Her family wasn't even happy for her in the moment that she’d waited for for years. She snapped, screaming and raging at her mother and sisters in Spanish. When she was done, she simply... left.

And with that, she shut the door and was on her way to St Mortiel.

:bulletred:Extras/Fun Facts:

~ Of course, being a Meganium, she can breath on plants and instantly revive them.
~ Her petals have become harder and don’t have ruffled edges like most Meganiums, and are oddly sharp. *Caution: try not to touch them and keep your face away from them. You might get a cut.* Their aroma may or may not have a soothing effect on individuals; it all depends on the person.
~Cultured, she can salsa quite well. The problem is, finding a person tall enough to do it with is a bit of a hassle.
~She can play the guitar and tapdance.
~She has a leaf-shaped birthmark on her left outer thigh. It runs in the family on her father’s side.
~ She only has four petals. Obviously that’s less than the general number, and even as a Chikorita she had very few buds. To her mother, even that labeled her as inadequate at birth.
~She occasionally has a hard time grasping math and history/ social studies. Her difficulty with them is a very touchy subject.
~She snorts when she laughs.
~She loves surprises. Especially bad ones. It's fun to problem-solve.
~ She has a secret belly button piercing that she got while a friend of hers got a couple of ear piercings back in Lumoise City.
~ Interestingly, when she becomes very agitated or angry, she’ll start speaking in Spanish, mostly slang, and won’t be able to speak English again until she’s calmed down.
~ The band she wears on her tail was a gift from her father, the only family member she feels ever had any compassion for her. She wears matching bracelets on each wrist.
~ She secretly fantasizes that her true love will one day sing  “ A Mi Manera” to her romantically and sweep her away.
~ She has three wigs for occasional use.
