So I decided to write up this journal seeing as so many people had decided to do it as well.

My deviantART story began a little over 3 and a half years ago, back when I was a wee little 11-year-old. All the kids at school began to recognise me as that girl who could draw. Rather uninterested in mainstream social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, etc., etc., I found myself exploring the internet for places to look at drawings and essentially cute, child-minded art and I stumbled upon the great and marvelous DeviantArt.com. My first desire was to save the endless stream of pictures I adored for my future viewing, and I remember typing in my birth year as 1989 to ensure a smooth acceptance into the dA community. Looking back, I was as immature as any other kid my age, judging by my earliest journal entries.
  My Popularity LevelWow, I didn't know how slowly you could GET fans. I mean I've been a member for a while. On a scale from 1 to 10 on the popularity scale, I think I'm at a...... 1.20(It's Peanutbutter Decimal Time) . My popularity at school is like a.......shit, it's like a 14!(I BROKE THE FUCKING SCALE). I keep telling those uncool basterds to check me out on Deviantart.com. Those dicks don't listen. But then again, some of them stink so bad, I bet they don't brush their teeth.(I'm SO mean. But I don't insult anyone face-to-face. Not like I'm scared cuase I also tutor karate.(I'm already booked so please don't ask.)).How in the Hell would they be able to afford COMPUTORS?LOL. But also, I'm kinda nuetral on my Deviantart.com popularity level becuase:
1)--Good-- If it was high, then people would be all over me and asking me to do shit.(I'm not saying I'm the best artist in Deviantart.com or anything, cuase I'm obviously not. But you know, just saying.)
2)--Bad-- It sucks when I draw a BUNCH of shit with
 is just one example of younger me being an absolute demon spawn. I'm serious, I just want to go back and beat past-me senseless. I suppose after I joined dA, I assumed I could be the super popular badass I never got to be, so I came expecting instant fame and recognition with a ridiculous amount of cursing on the side, geez, and was baffled on why I didn't get it.

As for art, I was pretty bad. Dear god.

This one here was my first drawn submission... yeah. Needless to say, I've definitely improved. I look back and find my art to be pretty crap. But hey, whenever I feel unconfident about my art I just look back and remind myself that I can still improve!

I ended up quitting for a short while and essentially disappearing, and sometime after a good break, I finally realised Watchers and Pageviews were nice and all, but they shouldn't be my only motivation to draw.

I had finally become quite a bit more active... Heh, I still never drew my glasses because I didn't know how, ha. And I mainly enjoyed drawing my real life.

I also decided to help my mom out and earn some moolah in my outside life, and made a pretty good sum of cash on watercolor commissions for my teachers.

Of course, I couldn't forget to mention my first love! She was a big influence on my dA life, and we're best friends to this day.
Psst, Ghost-Messorem , sup~!
Cheesy, I know, but she even did the original colorless design for my fursona, Venny~!
I also began to stress my MS Paint use pretty hard. At this point I was also handing out free requests like government cheese.

Next thing I knew, I was accepted into the wonderful Arts Magnet program for my first year of high school! And then Paint Tool SAI happened, thanks to a very nice arts' classmate of mine~! The drawings below are pretty much the spawn of the first semester of my Freshman year.

And then groups happened. This was essentially my means of meeting so many of my awesome dA friends. I got hooked on roleplaying and missions and whatnot, and I'm still [for the most part] keeping up with it all. Even though it's a fun thing for me to do, I gotta admit it's a bit much. Lately I've been buried in my dA notes and I've become rather late with replying.

And here we've arrived to the present day, pretty much. At this point in time, I've found myself maturing at a very sudden pace. Having all sorts of questionable epiphanies and the courage to let my personal opinions be known on popular artwork, I seem to be stepping out of my shell. Oh, and can you believe I'm still voice acting? Along with that, I'm working on trying out animation and doing an original comic.

Overall, I can't say I think my story is the most eventful, or exciting, or unique, but... it's mine. And I gotta say, I'm just super happy I have a story at all. I used to be horribly obsessed with the prospects of being admired and loved here, and along the way I realised that, sure, those things are neat, but it isn't the point of drawing. The point of doing it is for the enjoyment and happiness it brings you. Fortunately for me it's been the perfect outlet and kept me out of so much trouble, got me a reputation, and is a potential career path. I got really lucky with some helpful critiques and tips from some really cool people here, and I just love all the support and friendliness I find here, too.
I can bet by the next dA's birthday, I'll have even more to extend on my story with and I just can't wait.

On a somewhat unrelated note, my ID contest closes in three days~. Be sure to participate for a raffle, features, and more here;
  Holding a Contest~!Big News! Contest Time!
To celebrate me finally getting over the worst part of my recovery, the gist/majority/most of my depression, and -- hey, 80 flippin' Watchers, I've decided I'll hold my second ever contest!
So I've been planning to make a new dA ID for myself for a while, but I haven't been getting any good ideas for one. That's pretty much the whole idea here! A while ago I held the same contest, but I only got one entry. So as I catch up to my to-do list for dA, I figure this is another great opportunity to feature artwork of my fellow Deviants again!
I'll get straight to the rewards;
